Police received the call for help at 1:34 p.m. and responded to the VE Macy Park bridge in Ardlsey, where the man's friend, Michael Novak, and two bikers from the trail, Jason Shuker and Jenifer Johnson, both doctors, assisted him with his personal EPI auto injector, according to Farina.
A Greenburgh Police Emergency Medical Service detective and two civilian paramedics arrived and administered further medications to the man, Farina said.
He had been in extreme shock and had low blood pressure, but eventually stabilized and was taken to Westchester County Medical Center for further treatment, according to Farina.
