A report was made to the North Castle Police Department last week by a man who stated that another driver had struck his vehicle in the parking lot, causing extensive damage to the rear left bumper of a vehicle.
Police said that the man spoke with the other driver, who told him to repair the damage, and that he would pay. The bill ultimately came to $1,200, and the second driver backed out of their verbal agreement and has since refused to pay for the damages.
The victim was informed by police to file a civil claim through he North Castle Court and a Witness Deposition was filed by officers.
