Four Teenage Girls Charged In Hawthorne Robbery

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- A woman from New York City was attacked Sunday, June 7, by four girls at a Hawthorne train station, reported News 12 Westchester.

According to officials, the four girls, all under the age of 16, allegedly hassled the woman and then grabbed her by the neck until she nearly lost consciousness, and then proceeded to take her iPhone and laptop, reported News 12 Westchester.

After the girls were caught fleeing on a neighboring street, they were sent to Woodfield Detention Cottage and appeared in Mount Pleasant family court Monday, June 8, but won't be sent to jail, reported News 12 Westchester.
