Help find ‘Bruiser,’ the missing boxer

HAVE YOU SEEN HIM? We’re sincerely hoping you can help a local police captain find “Bruiser,” a 15-month-old adopted boxer who got skittish and took off from his Rockaway Township home.

Bruiser is only 15 months old and well-trained

Fairview Detective Capt. Martin Kahn’s 12-year-old daughter was out for a walk near their home in the Fleetwood section of the township Sunday morning when “Bruiser” got spooked and bolted.

He was spotted in the Mount Pleasant area of the township, as well as on West Main Street in the borough of Rockaway — and possibly again near the Hibernia Diner on Green Pond Road.

Take a good look at “Bruiser,” above and below.

Then take a good look around while you’re out and about.

Also, if you can, please pass this story along, either electronically or by printing out copies — especially to anyone you know out that way.

How terrific would it be for someone from the CLIFFVIEW PILOT family to help out a man whose mission is to serve and protect everyone else? (Not to mention how thrilled his upset offspring would be….)

Thank you.

NOTE: Bruiser is obedient — he responds to “sit,” “down” and “stay.” Squeaky toys will get his attention. And while he isn’t quick to warm to people, he absolutely will not bite. All of the information is included in the flier, below.
