State Police charged Mohammed Nasim, 25, following an investigation that allegedly revealed he was intoxicated at the time of the stop, according to police.
Nasim reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.21 percent, more than twice the state's legal limit of intoxication, said police.
He was issued traffic tickets and is due in Mount Pleasant court Jan. 7, according to police.
