VALHALLA, N.Y. – Flooding stranded several cars in Valhalla and closed streets throughout the area on Monday, Mount Pleasant police said.
Police and firefighters are responding to reports of cars stranded in floodwaters near Legion Drive in Valhalla, police said.
Flooding has also closed Broadway in Valhalla, as well as Broadway and Commerce West near Garfield in Hawthorne, police said.
The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning Monday. It expires at 1:30 p.m.
