HAWTHORNE, N.Y. - Mount Pleasant Police said six students at the Hawthorne Cedar Knolls School were arrested and charged with trespassing after allegedly breaking into a building on the school's campus.
Police said that on Monday, Jan. 11 at about 6 a.m., the students unlawfully entered the building for an unknown reason and that no items were stolen or damaged.
Three of the students, two 15-year-old males and one 13-year-old male, were charged as juvenile delinquents. The three others, a 17-year-old female and two 16-year-old males, were charged with criminal trespassing in the second degree, a misdemeanor.

- On Feb. 7 at about 7 p.m., police said, a domestic dispute at a house on Choate Lane in Thornwood led to the arrest of an 18-year-old Thornwood man on charges of criminal contempt in the second degree, a misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a violation. Police said the man disobeyed a court order to stay away from the house. Due to the nature of the crime, police declined to release the individual's name.
