PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - Mount Pleasant Police are investigating a lewd incident that occurred at the Pace University campus in Pleasantville involving an 11-year-old girl and an elderly man, according to Mount Pleasant Police Chief Louis Alagno.

Alagno said that the incident occurred on the evening of Jan. 30 while the girl was attending an event at the Pace fitness center. While walking past each other in the center, Alagno said the man reportedly grabbed his crotch and made comments toward the girl and that it is possible that he exposed himself to the minor. Police did not release information regarding the comments made.

Police are working with Pace University to view security footage to help identify a suspect.

The man is described as in his fifties, standing around 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a medium build, tan skin and no facial hair. At the time of the incident, police say he was wearing a straw bucket hat, a large tan overcoat, black shirt and blue jeans.
