Joe Bondi was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He was such a gentlemen; a kind hearted and very helpful individual. Receiving this news has been such a shock. I cannot imagine what his family must be going through. He will be missed.
May God strengthen his family during these extremely difficult times.

Thoughts and prayers go to the Bondi family...may he rest in peace.

Such a tragedy. Not saying speed was to blame for this situation -- I have no idea -- but a general buggaboo I have here is that people drive entirely too fast in this town, on the whole, putting the lives of pedestrian adults, little children and pets in danger consistently!

I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner. Take a look at my comment back on the article about most dangerous intersections in Mount Pleasant.

It was only a matter of time before this happened in this pedestrian hostile town at this pedestrian hostile intersection.

RIP, Mr. Bondi. My condolences to the family.
