Robert R. Ullman was charged after troopers responded to Pinehurst  Court in Cortlandt at 11:24 p.m. Sunday for a report of a domestic dispute, said Trooper AJ Hicks.

When troopers arrived they found Ullman had threatened the victims with a kitchen knife and taken their phone to prevent any emergency calls from being made, Hicks said.

Ullman was charged with menacing and criminal mischief. He was arraigned before the town of Cortlandt Court and released on his own recognizance.

Ulman is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victims.
