Police have released a pair of 911 calls reporting the plane crash near the Danbury Dog Park Sunday morning that sent three people to the hospital.
In two brief calls, which can be heard above, a woman and man report the plane crash near Miry Brook Road that took place at around 10:30 a.m., and request assistance to help the people on board.
Three men were on board the Cessna SkyHawk, which crashed into a field on the side of a hill Sunday morning. All three were taken to the hospital. Fire officials said that one man had life-threatening injuries, another was in severe condition, and the third was in stable condition. All three remained in the hospital Monday morning.
The identities of the three men have not been released. The National Transportation Safety Board has taken over investigation of the crash, and Danbury officials said it is too early in the investigation to release any more information.
