State Police At Hawthorne Charge Man, 25, With Driving While Impaired

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Raymond Anderson, a 25-year-old Yonkers resident, was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs by New York State Police in Hawthorne on Saturday, Sept. 6, about 1:39 a.m.

Anderson was stopped on the Sprain Brook Parkway for an equipment violation and stopping in the lane of traffic, according to a release by the state police. 

After being stopped, it was found that Anderson was driving while ability impaired by drugs, the release said. 

Anderson was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, according to the release. 

Anderson was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Yonkers City Court on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 9:30 a.m.
