Two Women Rob Westchester Clothing Store, Take Off In BMW, Police Say

Police are investigating after they say a pair of women robbed a village clothing store over the weekend and took off in a BMW with the stolen merchandise.

Officers were dispatched to a business at Boniface Circle in Scarsdale at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, where there was a report of a larceny that had just taken place involving two women who entered and exited the business in a grey BMW and fled toward Crane Road.

According to police, officers spoke with a manager at the store, who reported that the two women entered the store, with one entering a fitting room with several items while another continued shopping, picking up additional articles of clothing. When the second suspect exited the fitting room, the other dropped all the clothes in her hands and the two took off in the BMW.

Police said that the manager attempting to stop the two, but was unable to do so. When she checked in the dressing room, all the items were gone.

The suspects were described as African American, with one sitting at approximately 5-foot-7 with long braided hair, and the other was described as 5-foot-4 wearing a green jacket with a beauty mark above her lip.

The incident is under investigation by detectives in Scarsdale, as they review surveillance video and track the registration of the BMW. The situation is developing. Keep following Daily Voice for updates.
