If he wins, the position will be a familiar one for Stargiotti, who was elected to the position in 2006, but stepped down to take a position with Peekskill's corporation counsel in 2008, the Northern Westchester Examiner reported.

Stargiotti is looking to fill the seat vacated by Jonathan Cunningham, who decided not to run after 12 years in the position, the Northern Westchester Examiner said.
