The RadLab event is this Sunday, Nov. 2, from noon to 2:30 p.m. Children will step into the lab to investigate the science behind making their own frozen yogurt.

Peachwave hosted RadLab once before and the event was a great success. Heather Lewis, Community Outreach Director for Peachwave says, "Courtney and Jennifer came to us with this idea and we were so excited! We at Peachwave strive to provide the best local frozen yogurt experience while celebrating creativity and individuality in an engaging family friendly environment. RadLab is a perfect fit!".

Children ages pre-K through grade 2 (along with families) will have the opportunity to investigate colligative properties and how changing the freezing point of ice creates a frozen treat in a bag.

Rad Lab is a science program for children ages 3 to 5 that fosters students’ natural curiosity while building science confidence and literacy among young learners.

While having fun and getting plenty of hands-on experience with science, children will learn scientific concepts aligned with the Core Science Curriculum Frameworks for pre-K to 2nd grade. Through the fun activity at Peachwave, the children will not only get a tasty treat but also learn as they go.

Sign up at Peachwave. The event is free of charge and RadLab is now accepting registrations for the next semester.
