Senior Units Proposed In Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- A developer has agreed to lease seven acres of land from the Jewish Child Care Association to build an independent and assisted living community in Pleasantville, according to the Northern Westchester Examiner.

Baltimore-based Brightview Senior Living proposed a 175-unit community that would include 100 independent living units and 75 assisted living units in a four story complex to the village board, the Northern Westchester Examiner reported. 

Before the project can be approved, the area would need to be rezoned, the Northern Westchester Examiner said.
