The school held its commencement ceremonies for the 27 nurses who graduated its Licensed Practical Nursing program Wednesday.
“You have chosen a life of personal and professional service. You will make a difference in the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of people,” District Superintendent Dr. James Ryan told graduates. “There’s really no higher calling.”
The program is designed to teach students the ins and outs of the world of nursing, ensuring that they are well prepared for when they enter the nursing profession.
“How lucky and fortunate are we to have had the opportunity to attend this program?" Holly Douglas, another graduate speaker, said. "The teachers have laid a foundation that we will build upon in our future careers.”
