In total, students packed 13 boxes filled with 270 pounds of toiletries, food items, clothing, magazines and puzzles.

“It’s important to show our appreciation for our soldiers every day, but especially during the holidays,” club President Grace Orr said in a statement. “We get to spend time with our families, but they are overseas and can’t. If they open our gifts and have a little extra comfort, it’s worth it.”
