The firefighters showed students what they looked and sounded like in full gear, explained safety tips such as stop, drop, and roll, checking a door before opening it, and reminding parents to check smoke detectors.

Firefighters also allowed students to look at the tools and to walk through the trucks. They left the students with coloring books, fire-hats, and a mission to check the smoke detectors.
