Mount Pleasant Schools Closed On Friday

THORNWOOD, N.Y. - Schools in the Mount Pleasant Central School District will be closed for students Friday, as two of the district's four buildings were still without power Thursday afternoon.

If school is open next week, Tuesday will be a full day of school on Election Day, the district said. Originally, school was going to be closed Tuesday.

A Superintendent Conference Day will be held for all staff members on Friday at Columbus Elementary School.
