MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. – Students from Mount Pleasant have earned several awards and honors while at school and college:

  • Westlake High School sophomore Sarah Marino placed second in animal science at the second annual Westlake Science Fair.
  • Westlake High School freshman Will Sweeny placed third in engineering at the second annual Westlake Science Fair.
  • Mount Pleasant resident Joseph Geenovese was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at Villanova University.
