THORNWOOD, N.Y. -- Schools in the Mount Pleasant and Valhalla school districts will be closed on Friday due to the snowstorm.

Schools in the Mount Pleasant Central School District will be closed after it was originally planned to open on a two-hour delay.  Teachers and staff members within the Mount Pleasant Central School District are asked to report to their respective schools on Friday at noon.

All after-school activities for both school districts will also be cancelled.
