Mount Pleasant Wildcats Wear Gold For Pediatric Cancer Awareness

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- The Mount Pleasant Wildcat football players and cheerleaders will participate in pediatric cancer awareness month during September.

Approximately 250 children ranging from ages 6-12, grades 1-6, across 12 teams will be wearing gold, the color to represent this month of awareness.

All eight football teams and all four cheerleading squads will be playing their games on their home field at Westlake High School Campus, 825 Westlake Drive in Thornwood on Sunday, Sept. 7.

Games will run throughout the morning where athletes will proudly wearing gold.
