Pleasantville Firefighters Visit School To Teach Safety

PLEASANTVILLE, N. Y. -- Pleasantville volunteer firefighters visited students Oct. 6 at Bedford Road School to talk about fire safety as part of Fire Prevention Week.

Students got a chance to tour fire safety vehicles and learn about fire safety. School officials said the students learned about staying safe in an emergency.

Many of the firefighters are Pleasantville natives, including Pleasantville High School grads Chief Aimee Dieter and Assistant Chief Stephane Zapletal.
