Pleasantville Honors School Employees For 25 Years Of Service

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pleasantville school district honored three longtime staff members at the Opening Superintendent's Conference Day on Sept 1. 

The Pleasantville school district honored fifth-grade teacher Hillary Dettwyler, Pleasantville High School social studies teacher Virginia Mancini and Director of Educational Services Carolyn McGuffog for 25 years of service.

Superintendent Mary Fox-Alter recognized three staff members -- fifth-grade teacher Hillary Dettwyler, Pleasantville High School social studies teacher/department chair/curriculum coordinator Virginia Mancini and Director of Educational Services Carolyn McGuffog -- for reaching 25 years of service to the district.

It has been a tradition since 1998 to honor district employees who are celebrating their 25th year of service at the Opening Superintendent's Conference Day.
