As a community service project, he donated the books to the Open Door Family Medical Center in Ossining for its Reach Out and Read program. The books will be used to help make the clinic waiting room inviting for young readers and their families, medical center officials said.

Reach Out and Read is a Boston-based nonprofit that works with medical providers to make books available to families waiting for services.
