The report, "Where Are They Only" found that only 84 percent of 2012 Pleasantville High School's graduating class attended some form of post-secondary education, The Examiner reported.
Fox-Alter explained that local data, examined by the Lower Hudson Council of School Superintendents, had a large discrepancy between the state's statistics and their own, according to the report.
The discrepancies were as follows: the state reported that 74 percent of students who graduated in 2012 are college students, whereas the council found that the number is actually 90 percent, the report said.
