Valhalla Middle/High School Performs Winter Concert

VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Valhalla Middle/High School's auditorium was overflowing as five musical groups, composed of middle school students, performed an array of Christmas, Hanukkah and other winter-themed arrangements on Monday, Dec. 15.

The instrumental groups included the symphonic band, the concert band, the string orchestra and the jazz band, and the vocal groups consisted of the vocal ensemble and the chorus.

Scott Rimm-Hewitt, Deborah Woodard and Chris Czerw handled the directorial duties. By evening’s end the packed house was in full holiday spirit and as the night came to end, one could almost hear Santa’s sleigh bells tinkling in the night air.
