Valhalla Schools Host Lacrosse Pancake Breakfast

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Get ready to chow down some pancakes for a good cause on Saturday, Dec. 5 during the Pancake Extravaganza to support the Valhalla High School girls varsity lacrosse team.

Not only can visitors help the Valhalla girls varsity team earn money by eating tons of pancakes, they will also be treated to a play "A Charlie Brown Christmas & Some Other Stuff" by the school's theater group.

Although the breakfast is free to all, attendees are encouraged to donate money to help the team reach its goal to travel to Disney World over Spring Break.

The breakfast will run from 10 a.m.to 1:30 p.m. at Valhalla High School, 300 Columbus Ave. Pancake lovers will also be treated to a presentation by the school's theater students of "A Charlie Brown Christmas & Some Other Stuff" in the afternoon (at 2 p.m. in the VHS auditorium),
