The school's inaugural "Trunk or Treat" event raised $300 for student council activities, according to a post on the school district's Facebook page.

The Oct. 30 event, which featured 25 cars, each with meticulously decorated trunks, was open to trick-or-treaters, according to the post.

The district offered a "thank you," to those community members who attended the event and contributed to the council.
