ARDSLEY, N.Y. -- Lauren Rende was the winning pitcher for Ardsley Thursday in an 11-7 victory over Kensico in the Westchester Baseball Association Summer League softball game at McDowell Field.
Haylee Wootten was the catcher and leading offensive player for Ardsley, which took advantage of a number of walks to build a lead. Christina Ferrara had two hits and drove in a run and Danielle Olenchak and Lindsay Dawson each had a hit and an RBI. Gianna Muscolino reached base twice for Kensico. Marissa Serena pitched for Kensico.
