Phillies Win Kensico Little League Baseball Title

The Phillies entered the Kensico Little League baseball 9-10-year-old playoffs as the No. 1 seed, after winning the regular-season title. The Phillies understood the regular-season championship was great, but it was not the ultimate goal. Winning the title was the Phillies’ goal and they achieved it with an 11-2 victory over the Blue Jays in the championship game.

“It was an unbelievable experience to watch and I could not have been any prouder of the team,” Phillies’ manager Paul Viviano said. “They worked hard, practiced every day and became a complete team, top to bottom. Every player had at least one hit in the championship game.”

The Phillies team included Coby Berliner, Brendan Capozzi, Enzo Felicissimo, Joey Marmo, Brody McGuinn, Dylan McLaughlin, Sammy Massuto, Joseph Pecora, Joseph Ramalho, Adam Sims, Jason Sonkin and Krisstofer Viviano. Viviano’s coaches were Mary Pecora, Diane Felicissimo and Mauricio Marmo.
