Pleasantville A Seventh Graders Run by Scarsdale

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pleasantville A girls’ seventh-grade basketball team continued its winning ways Sunday, defeating previously-unbeaten Scarsdale 37-31 in a Tri-County Basketball League game.

Carly Fanelli scored a game-high 15 points and Kristie Guttridge and Natalie Alfieri each had eight points.

The Pleasantville A girls, who are from Pleasantville, Pocantico in Tarrytown and Hawthorne, are currently 7-0 in league play with seven games remaining in the regular season.

The Pleasantville A seventh-grade players are Alfieri, Alyssa Conrad, Fanelli, Guttridge, Megan Powers, Amanda Skopetos and Julia Serret. Skylar Schneeweiss is a sixth grader.

The Pleasantville A team is coached by Cathie Skopetos and her assistants Arielle Schneeweiss and Lois Alfieri.
