Pleasantville High School Salutes Class Of 2016 At Graduation Ceremony

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Pleasantville High School honored the Class of 2016 with the school's 112th annual commencement June 24.

The ceremony took place in the front circle of the school, as faculty, family and members of the school's Class of 1966 looked on at the festivities.

Speakers included Superintendent of Schools Mary Fox-Alter, Principal Joseph Palumbo, valedictorian Sophie Dora Tulchin, salutatorian Laura Chapman and senior speaker Mark Damboragian.

A number of graduation awards were handed out, including the Leadership and Scholarship Award to assistant principal Gregg Fonde.

This year's graduation class was 138.
