THORNWOOD, N.Y - The Valhalla Jr. Vikings made the short, easy trip to Westlake High School Sunday morning to take on the Wildcat Football Club and the home team won a 27-0 decision over its neighbor from Valhalla.

The Valhalla defensive backs and linebackers Desean Clarke, James Harnady, Anthony Demicelli, Mikey Sullivan, and Joe Pecora had a difficult time getting good hits on the elusive Wildcat running backs, allowing several long gains.

Coach Fred Feit nearly exhausted his playbook sending play after play into his signal caller, Brody McGuinn, who tried sweeps, traps, and dives to get his team into the end zone. Tailback Mikey Ferrara, and fullback Joey Pecora were met at the Westlake line quickly.

The Vikings had some success going to the air when McGuinn completed passes to Harnady and Demicelli for good gains. Sullivan had a nice forced fumble, which Jordan Rush returned for a gain, one of the few highlights for the Vikings.

Valhalla will travel north to take on the Cowboys of Cortland next Sunday.
