Westchester CC Boasts All-Conference Trio

VALHALLA, N.Y. – Mahopac’s Nicole Angelo led a trio of Westchester Community College women’s volleyball players who were named to the All Mid-Hudson Conference teams.

Angelo, a graduate of Mahopac high School, was named first team, while Deandra McQueen, a freshman from Yonkers, and Bianca Nigro, a sophomore from Ossining, were voted second team All Mid-Hudson Conference.

The volleyball season came to an end in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Region XV Championship Tournament with the sixth-seeded Vikings lost at No. 3 seed Queensborough 23-25, 16-25, 21-25.
