Westlake Boys Varsity Lacrosse Advances To State Semis

MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- The Westlake High School boys lacrosse team is on a roll.

Fresh off its first-ever Section 1 championship, Westlake defeated Greenwich High School 12-5 on Saturday to advance to the state semifinals Wednesday at Adelphi University. Westlake faces Long Island champion Babylon at 6:30 p.m.

The winner of that game advances to the state title game Saturday in Rochester.
