PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pleasantville was so close to getting its first win last week, only to be stunned by Ardsley on a touchdown and two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter.
The Pleasantville Panthers, 0-3, will be an ornery group when they host the Westlake Wildcats, Saturday, 2 p.m., at Parkway Field. Pleasantville has lost its last two games by one point each.
Westlake will also be in a foul mood following its 10-0 loss to Byram Hills. The Wildcats appeared to be out of sync offensively against the Bobcats. Westlake was held to less than 100 yards rushing.
Westlakes defense played a solid game, only to be undone by one play -- a 60-yard scoring run in the second quarter.
