THORNWOOD, N.Y. -- Will Carter made an immediate impact on defense for the Ithaca College football team in its’ game against Union.

Carter, a senior captain and starting linebacker, led the team with a career-high 13 tackles in a 27-24 overtime win.

The Westlake graduate forced a fumble which was returned 56 yards by a defensive teammate for a touchdown in the first quarter.

Through two games, Carter leads the team in tackles with 20, including a sack. He is in his third year starting at linebacker.
