Westchester Baseball Players Invited to Test Skills

STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford American Little League will host a pitch, hit and run skills competition on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Caporizzo Field on Vine Road.  Players between the ages of 7 and 14 from all towns in Fairfield and Westchester counties are invited to attend.

The free skills event is sponsored by Major League Baseball. Winners will advance to a sectional competition on June 2.

Competition will be divided into four age groups and by gender. The age groups are 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. The top performers in each division advance to sectional competition. Players need to bring a birth certificate, bat and glove.
