Hutchinson River Parkway Ramp Closure Scheduled

Westchester County motorists planning on traveling through Pelham on the Hutchinson River Parkway may need to seek alternate routes next week as contracting crews complete construction activities in the area, causing a ramp closure.

The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert on Thursday warning that due to the ongoing bridge replacement project over the Hutchinson River Parkway, the entrance ramp from Wolfs Lane (Exit 9) to the northbound lanes of the parkway will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The closures are expected to begin on Monday, April 2 and continue through the end of the week. Motorists can expect delays, the NYSDOT noted. Detours will be posted to aid drivers, and there are expected to be flaggers in the area to assist.
