WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Prospect Avenue between Fair Street and Gibson Avenue in the White Plains section of Greenburgh was closed on Tuesday afternoon due to an accident involving a tractor-trailer, police said.
Prospect Avenue was closed on Tuesday afternoon after a tractor-trailer ran into low-hanging wires, according to Greenburgh police.

There were no reported injuries, Ryan said.
Verizon repair crews are en route to the location, Ryan said.
