Tree Work Closes Busy Route 120

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Tree work has led to the closure of a busy Chappaqua roadway, which is expected to last a couple of hours Friday morning.

The New Castle Police Department issued an alert advising motorists that Quaker Road will be closed from Kipp Street to Douglas Road from approximately 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., as the New York State Department of Transportation conducts tree work in the area.

Officials have advised motorists to exercise extra caution while traveling through the area. There will be signage posted for a detour.
