The freeze warning is forecast to last from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m., officials said.
Residents can expect patchy frost with a low around 29 degrees Tuesday night before the front moves in bringing the freezing temperatures and snow showers that will settle over the area on Thursday, said the weather service.
Temperatures are expected to be between 25 to 35 degrees Wednesday with increasing clouds and light winds.
Snow is forecast to move into the area before 10 a.m. Thursday, before turning into rain in the afternoon. Highs will hover near 48 degrees. The chance of rain/snow is 80 percent with little to no accumulation expected.
Rain will continue into Thursday evening with an 80 percent chance of showers before partly sunny skies return on Friday with a high around 50 degrees.
