Spring Has Sprung But Wintry Weather Will Return To Westchester

The first day of spring brought the warmest daytime temperature the area has seen in more than a week on Monday.

Winter-like temperatures will return to the area just days after the start of spring.

But if you think that means we've turned the page on winter-like weather, think again.

Tuesday's high should be at or near 50 degrees under partly sunny skies with a chance of a morning shower in points farther south.

Then comes the cold snap.

The high temperature for Wednesday will struggle to reach the freezing mark.

Thursday will also be cold with a high in the mid-30s.

The good news, though, is sunny or partly sunny skies are expected both days, preventing a return of snow during either day.

There is, however, a chance of snow and snow mixing with rain Friday morning before the daytime high climbs to the low 40s and skies become partly cloudy.
