The story, about a couple and their guide on safari in Africa, is considered one of Hemingway’s best efforts and was adapted for the big screen in 1947, according to a release from the Mount Pleasant Library.
Sklar, a Westchester resident, is a freelance voice actor, with recordings of more than 200 audiobooks, plus numerous television and radio commercials to his credit. He was last heard at the library in December for “Holiday Stories" and returns by popular demand.
The reading will begin at 7:30 p.m.
