For ages 6-10, Kids n’ Clay offers students the opportunity to discover the magical qualities of clay by creating fun, weekly projects. An instructor from the Clay Art Center, a nationally recognized nonprofit center for the advancement of the ceramic arts, will teach children the technical skills needed to produce imaginative ceramic pieces.

For ages 10-13, ArtsWestchester’s Sewing & Design course will teach students how to sketch a design, how to choose the right fabric and use a sewing machine. The course will be taught by ArtsWestchester’s professional teaching artist, Mary McFerran. McFerran has had her work featured at the New Museum in New York City, International Fiber Arts Exhibition Sebastopol Center for the Arts in California and Islington Arts Factory in the United Kingdom.
