MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. David McColl, 49, of Pleasantville, a registered sex offender, was arrested Monday at his home by the Mount Pleasant Police Department and charged with violating the conditions of his probation.
McColl violated his conditions as a sex offender by visiting the Mount Pleasant Town Pool on July 9.
McColl was placed on probation in Dutchess County after failing to register there as a sex offender. He is still awaiting sentencing for that crime
The investigation was conducted by Lt. Brian Fanelli, who monitors the town's sex offenders. Fanelli acquired the arrest warrant with the help of the Dutchess County Probation Department.
McColl is currently being in Dutchess County Jail without bail.
