Westchester County Needs Volunteers For Emergency Drill

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Westchester County Health Department is in need of several hundred volunteers to participate in an emergency preparedness drill on Sept. 30.

The drill will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Ave, White Plains.

A variety of people are needed such as, parents with young children, seniors, college students, and people with disabilities. No special training or experience is needed. Volunteers will be playing the part of victims and will walk through a simulated medication distribution exercise to learn which medication would be given if they had been exposed to anthrax.
