The race is a fundraiser for the Joel A. Halpern Regional Trauma Center's Burn Center, and covers nearly 5 kilometers.

The team from Crossfit XT, headed up by Corine Videla and Anthony Fortuna, instructors at the gym, navigated the course using teamwork and hustle the whole way.

Team members Gary Rushneck (whose mother is a nurse in the trauma center) and his wife Marybeth agreed that it was an awesome way to start a Saturday while also helping others.
